One of the most wonderful remote beaches of Chania region. This area and you will love swimming or sunbathing at this magnificent beach with pebbles. Also, you can admire the rocky Chironissia caves and enjoy snorkeling in the turquoise waters.

Thodorou

“Ta Thodorou” is not one islet but two – a big and a tiny one- hence their name in Greek which is in plural form. Their small size is not equal to their historic background which is very rich. The area had been conquered by the Venetians and the Turks in the past therefore there ruins of a church and a castle as a reminder of the great battles that have taken place there.
Today Thodorou is declared as a National park and human presence is banned. However, visitors are allowed and the area is a refuge for many wild animals and migratory birds.
